This module maintains data relating to the inventory of programmes be it commissioned or acquired. This module is also seamlessly integrated with the Production Management module and maintains a current list of programmes that are available for airing. A variety of agreement parameters can be captured and these parameters are validated while the programme schedule is prepared.

The module is the finance manager for the contracts created in the Rights Management Module. It helps in maintaining the cost of inventory and their amortization by telecast or by license period or a combination of the two. It is a real time inventory tool that can be used for forecasting. It also provides What-If tools scenarios to work on budgets from quarter to quarter.

Ad Sales, Traffic and Billing

This module covers Deal Management, a variety of inventory sales including Sponsors, Spots, Day Sponsors, Tickers, Logo Exposures, Ground Events, Paid Programmes and more. A wide range of facilities to track the Free Commercial Time (FCT) and multiple work flow patterns are available. Robust work flows to handle last minute commercial bookings and changes in logs. A very user friendly customizable proof of performance and billing feature is also available.

Remote Order Booking

Are you fed up of data entry errors, bad fax messages and lack of communication between sales offices and the head office? Now, CHAMP allows every personnel to take control of their data and increases accountability for their accounts. With the remote order booking facility, sales coordinators from various regions can log into CHAMP from their regions and place a request for booking in the channels. The head office can then accept or reject the booking based on decision parameters.

Promotion Manager, Planner and Scheduler

This is a module that helps programming promote their own programmes on their own channel. An extensive promo planner with promos, menus and channel logo version control is available. The Auto Plot capability helps evenly spread promotions of programmes based on priorities set in the plan. The billboard manager handles the complex and dynamically changing sponsor lists and assures accuracy in placing promos and the promo tags.

Media Library Management

This is an end to end library management module to manage any type of media. Apart from the library functions it is also closely integrated with programming and quality processes. A screen to capture Audio and Video glitches, cue sheets (for tapes and digital inventory) and a work flow to make sure only approved content goes on air. An active list of content available on the video server and the deletion of inactive content can also be maintained in this module.

Production Management (Budgeting, Schedule Tracking and Actuals Comparison)

This is a module that helps the finance and programming departments to work homogenously. Budgets for self produced programmes, their production schedules, expenses for each schedule at voucher levels and subsequently apportion the actual cost over the episodes produced can all be managed with this module. Budgeting and costing can be classified under multiple heads and groups. Validation of actual cost against the budget, rate checks for commonly used resources can also be done.

Programme Marketing Funds Tracker

This is a financial tool like the production module that can help budget and track actual expenses incurred in promoting programmes on other media. Television programmes promoted in Radio, Print, hoardings and other media can be tracked along with Accounts Payables for suppliers.

Data Analyzer

A generic reporting tool with flexible options to group, sort and filter to produce ad hoc reports that are not part of the canned reports. Built on a data warehouse model, the data is isolated from the live transactions thus allowing great speed of reporting without hampering the performance of the day to day transactions.

Security and Audit Trails

A standard application security built to specify rights for Add, Edit, Delete and Print at the screen level is available. The security for login can either be maintained at the application level or can be integrated with the Windows Active Directory. A field level audit trail is also available to pin point changes that have happened in every screen along with the user, date and time when the changes were done.
